Anti-corrosion technology is to copy the selected image to the surface of the metal part that needs to be etched through photochemical imaging technology, screen printing technology, image electroplating technology, laser lithography technology and scratching anti-corrosion layer technology, forming a barrier layer that can prevent corrosion, which we usually call an anti-corrosion layer. This process can also be called the image transfer process.
Image transfer in etching processing can be divided into two types according to the method used: direct image transfer and indirect image transfer.
Direct image transfer refers to a method of transferring the required image directly from the photographic plate image or the prepared image screen plate to the surface of the metal part through photochemical imaging technology or screen printing technology. This method is suitable for: image transfer of planes or cylinders that can be directly exposed to light or screen printed.
Indirect image transfer refers to: transferring the image to be transferred to a flexible carrier through photochemical imaging technology or screen printing technology, and then transferring the image to the surface of the part through this carrier. This method is suitable for: spherical surfaces that cannot or are difficult to be directly exposed to light or screen printed, or other parts with complex surface shapes. This method is widely used in etching of special-shaped mold patterns.
Pad printing is also a kind of indirect image transfer. When the batch is large, it is also a very suitable and efficient transfer method for parts that can be transferred by pad printing.
